This is Lauren’s fifth summer at Songadeewin. She hails from Worcester, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Washington and Lee University. Before coming to Songa, Lauren lived and worked in Putney, Vermont for 21 years where she led, created, and directed summer programs for middle and high schoolers focused on service and culture in the Spanish-speaking world. She and her husband Drew and their three boys live in Middlebury, Vermont. Lauren enjoys hiking with her dog Lewis, soaking up Vermont’s seasonal extremes, speaking Spanish, playing ultimate frisbee, being a mom to her kids, and traveling.
