In August of 2012, in the week before camp concludes, we are offering a guided trip for women only in the Temagami region. This trip is planned for all ability levels and is not restricted to people with connections to Keewaydin. The tentative dates are August 2-9. Enrollment is limited to 10 “campers”. Cost TBD. It will be lead in the traditional Temagami style, using tumplines and cooking over fires, etc. However, as with all of our adult trips, we may use soft Duluth Packs (think canvas backpack with a tumpline and shoulder straps) instead of the heavier wannigans and we may use lighter Kevlar canoes in the stead of wood canvas, again because of the lighter weight.
