John is from Brandon, Vermont. He received his Masters of Art in Teaching from the Upper Valley Graduate School of Education in 2013 and received a BFA in Painting from Montana State University in 2004. He has been teaching art at Neshobe Elementary School in Brandon, Vermont since 2016. In his free time, John loves to be with his family, go mountain biking, draw comics, and play chess. He is excited about being part of the Songa community for his fourth summer.
